A distant cousin of our beloved Hops & Barley, Essential is a classic deck of cards with an ornate botanical theme, playful colours and some hidden depths. For Essential we wanted to experiment a little, and some of its less obvious features are…

Gilded edition – limited to 200 with gold corner seal
Crushed lavender dual-tone tuck box with interior gold foil. The inside of the box is made from a special paper stock with crushed lavender seeds.
Transparent foiling in multiple layers to create the glass bottle effect on the fronts.
The first filled backgrounds on any Jocu court cards.
A little on-theme secret available only when you get these in yours hands 🙂

During assembly, the #36 seal was torn. Therefore, a different seal had to be applied to this deck than the others received. Making this "error" deck a true 1 of 1.
